BEACON HILL PARK + GORGE PAVILION

E + D’s wedding moved through Victoria in chapters: portraits beneath the trees in Beacon Hill Park, then across town to Gorge Pavilion where the afternoon opened into dinner, speeches, and celebration.

Because the day lived in two places, I photographed it as one continuous story, from the quiet portraits at the beginning to the people filling the room later on.

LOVE NOTES

Akzhana made us feel at ease in front of the camera right away and gave us the guidance we needed without making anything feel regimented. We could focus on each other, get caught up in the moment, and have fun.
Our photographs truly represent us. The whole experience felt more like a date night than a photo shoot.
